Not that Tim couldn't be talked about at all...just not the focus. Miami and I both felt led to not follow/support Tim as closely and to use the site for more faith based content. Also, it was getting very gossipy. There are some things about the old days I miss as well. Have a blessed day!

For those still reading here I will make you laugh... Last week in the Vacation Bible School that I serve in I had a Tim and a Camilla assigned to me. LOL! As a good friend of mine always says "God has jokes".

Theses are scriptures that were on my heart today. I trust that God's universal love and truth will minister to others through them today and in the days ahead.
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28 NIV
And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9 ESV
Yet those who wait for the LORD will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary. Isaiah 40:31 NASB

Galatians 6:9 ESV Yet those who wait for the LORD will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary. Isaiah 40:31 NASB Thank you so much for sharing these verses! They are truly ministering to me. You had been on my heart and when I cried out, “What Lord?” The phrase “weary in well doing” kept coming to me. I have known days, weeks, months, and yes, even years of weariness as many soldiers of The King will know. Without His Word and a direct line of communication with Him I could not (I will not) make it. Fourteen years ago, during one of those seasons of weariness, a Godly counselor told me that outside of a miracle, a particular choice I was making (a scriptural one) would mean that every day of my life would be like waking up and climbing to the top the massive mountain we could see from his office window—ALONE, only to come down at the end of the day knowing that tomorrow and the next day and the next that I would be faced with doing it again. The reward—one day I would hear the voice of my precious Father say, “Well done My good and faithful servant...enter into the joy of your master.” His Word sustained me then and continues to do so now. He made my feet like the feet of a deer and set me secure on the heights. Psalm 18:33 ESVDuring these seasons I often find myself humming this song... It Will Be Worth It AllSometimes the day seems long, Our trials hard to bear. We´re tempted to complain, to murmur and despair. But Christ will soon appear to catch his bride away! All tears forever over in God’s eternal day! CHORUS: It will be worth it all when we see Jesus! Life’s trials will seem so small when we see Christ. One glimpse of his dear face, all sorrow will erase. So, bravely run the race till we see Christ. At times the sky seems dark, with not a ray of light; We’re tossed and driven on, no human help in sight. But there is One in heaven, Who knows our deepest care; Let Jesus solve your problems, just go to him in prayer. Life’s day will soon be o’re, all storms forever past; We’ll cross the great divide to Glory, safe at last! We’ll share the joys of heaven: a harp, a home, a crown; The tempter will be banished, We’ll lay our burdens down. Blessings today and always, good and faithful servant!

Great blog by Pastor Ronnie Floyd!
It is a danger in American Christianity when church membership is viewed no differently than membership in a club or organization. You attend, pay your “dues,” carry out some responsibilities, and you’re a member. Many seem to think church membership has its privileges; the right to complain, the right to command, etc.
But this is wrong. Very wrong.
The Church is not a Club
Part of the danger of the club mentality of church memberships is this: we believe the benefits of membership are truly about us. But, according to Scripture, each person is a member because it benefits the entire body of believers. Thom Rainer, the president of LifeWay Christian Resources, says it like this: “We’ve all belonged to organizations where we pay our dues and are entitled to certain benefits in return. The problem occurs when we bring this same mentality to church. Church membership isn’t about having our needs met.”1
The Apostle Paul was clear about the relationship believers have with each other in the local body. Each person in the church has a role just like arms, legs, eyes, and ears have functions in the human body. The distinctions are real and necessary to complete everything God plans to accomplish in any local body. “But now God has placed each one of the parts in one body just as He wanted. And if they were all the same part, where would the body be? Now there are many parts, yet one body.”2
Connecting in your Church
The best way to connect in the local church is not through attending worship. The larger the crowd, the more difficult it is to connect. Connections are more likely in smaller groups where burdens can be borne, concerns shared, conversations held, and life lived together.
Every believer needs community. None of us are “lone rangers.” Paul again reminds us, “So the body is not one part but many.”3 There are no individual bodies of Christ, only corporate bodies. We support and are supported as one body.
In his letter to the Ephesians, Paul teaches the same truth using the metaphor of marriage, “In the same way, husbands are to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. For no one ever hates his own flesh but provides and cares to it just as Christ does the church, since we are members of His body.”4
To experience community, get connected to small groups in your church. Whether it’s called Sunday School, small groups, LifeGroups, Community Groups or something else, be sure to get involved. Growth happens best in community.
Yours for the Great Commission,
Ronnie W. Floyd

I can't help but wonder if God put them there in the first place to be used to fill the need.
