This morning my thoughts and prayers are with Tim.
A young man raised in a strong Evangelical Christian home and with a loving family. A family of faith. Timmy came to The Lord early in his life, and grew up loving and worshiping is Father in Heaven, who sent the true Light of the World in his Son Jesus to save us all and show is the path to follow. Tim has lovingly and faithfully followed that path with few bumps and stumbles.
Reading the above doesn't make Tim different from a lot of folks of the same faith, the difference being when they come to The Lord, and maybe different childhood experiences.
But, Tim is different. Tim is special. The Lord gave Tim another very different love and passion in his life, although a passion of this world, a passion of purpose. That love and passion is Football. Tim was given unique talent to go with it. Most important, he was given these things for one reason only, to step up on a platform for The Lord, a platform built by his talent and fame that The Lord provided for this one and only task of spreading The Word. To Stand!!
Somewhere in all the blinding fame and fortune of that growing platform that The Lord gave Tim, a wrong fork in the path was taken. The great deceiver at work no doubt. The alternate path runs close to the The Lords path, just close enough to deceive many. Even Tim. The result is a great earthly love and passion is being pulled away and a once very great platform is diminishing.
There is a large group of strong and faithful Christian prayer warriors out there (Including these Gals), who are not deceived, and who's hearts are breaking for a sweet and loving young man named Timmy, our brother in Christ we love dearly.
This morning a very simple prayer that followers the long preference above. Timmy we pray that The Lord allows your eyes and heart to be opened back up soon to the truth of your mission. To allow you to receive the prayers and message from all who love you. The message is to STAND. Stand strong and fast in The Word, and in the true Spirit in which it is to be given, and with a passion and crystal clearness that won't allow confusion or deceit to over shadow.
